What is Pectoral Prosthesis Surgery?
These are surgeries performed to give a muscular and strong chest appearance for men. Even if you do sports, sometimes the desired results cannot be achieved. Or there is no time. Pectoral prosthesis is a good option for men who want to enlarge their breasts. You can return to work within a few days after surgery.
Soft and non-leaking silicones are used in pectoral prostheses. Post-operative results are immediately visible.
Incisions can be used in two different places during the surgery.
1- Subbreast fold incision: It is an incision made in the fold under the breast. It is very easy to place the prosthesis.
2- Transaxillary incision: An incision is made under the armpit, a tunnel is opened and the prosthesis is placed.
Since all incisions are small, they are not visible and heal quickly. The healing process is different for each patient.
Postoperative recovery begins immediately and takes an average of 3-6 days.
For TRACE;
After these surgeries, it can be used with the material called Silicone sheet + a cream for the scar.
Or it is protected with tapes called Omnisitrip. It is comfortable when taking a bath and does not open, and it puts pressure on the wound.
