About the Operation
“We always strive to do our best to meet your needs.”
Nipple pathologies are defects that can occur congenitally or later.
In congenital pathologies, the nipple is inverted or the breast is buried in the brown area. It is shaped externally with different techniques under local anesthesia, and they can continue their normal life and take a bath on the same day. Nipple may be excessively large. In rare cases, excision is performed with local anesthesia and patients can continue their normal lives immediately.
In addition, in patients whose breast and nipple are removed due to reasons such as cancer, a second session after Breast Reconstruction is performed under local anesthesia with the “CV” flap technique, the pictures of which can be seen, or with different techniques; the nipple is created with the flap 4-5. Sutures are removed on the same day. The flap is applied in the same session, and the colored part around it is created with the skin taken from the groin or later with tatoo.
As in all other breast operations, the operation technique is determined according to the position of the nipple and the degree of sagging. A plan is made in accordance with the technique and, in accordance with the pre-operative drawing, a scar extending from the nipple and down to the tip is planned, which will lighten after approximately 6 months. The final scar varies from person to person, sometimes it remains LIMITED only around the colored part of the nipple, and this scar disappears over time.
