Nose Tip Aesthetics;
The nose attracts attention with every part of it. Since it is located in the middle of the face, millimetric differences are noticeable. The nose helps shape our expression and create the meaning of our face. Deformity can be seen on the back of the nose without any problems, only at the tip, although very rarely. Deformities resulting from old surgeries are common at the tip of the nose.
It can be corrected with surgery or with a sling and/or botox filler.
The most common nasal curvature we encounter is a curvature that includes the back and tip of the nose as well as the inside. The part we call “septum”, located in the midline of the nose, is like “the walls of a house containing columns”. If this part is crooked, it will be reshaped according to the curvature of the structure we call septum, after all the changes made on its walls. In fact, for this reason, it is inevitable to see patients who have been operated on 3-5 times due to the fact that the septum is not fully corrected or the correction of the upper cartilages is not complete even though the septum is corrected.
There is asymmetry in our face and body, but it is too slight to be noticed. This is now known, but there are such asymmetries that the midline of the nose and mouth is different from each other because one side of the face is underdeveloped or very developed; There are even more exaggerated asymmetries, which we even call congenital anomalies. Such patients are more common in adulthood.
For example, one side of the face is underdeveloped or underdeveloped, incomplete, or very small. In such people, the continuity of the nose and the midpoint of both eyebrows is not straight as usual, but is towards the left and right, and may even be in a different direction at the midpoint of the lips.
Such patients apply wanting aesthetic miracles. They think that the asymmetry on the face is caused by the nose located in the middle, and they apply with this request. Or, he/she notices the whole thing but expects the whole thing to improve with a nose operation.
Such patients should be evaluated with more serious orthodontic facial tomographies. Since it is not possible to correct all asymmetries by revealing pathologies, it is necessary to approach nature in the most analytical way.
In patients who require nasal tip aesthetics, the operation is performed under local anesthesia in case of correction only in the part of the nose we call TYPE, that is, width, pointedness, irregularity (curvature) from right to left. There is no need for plaster or splint, it is easily done by entering from the inside, that is, with the closed technique. There is no bruising, there is no need to insert a tampon.
